Brisbane Powerhouse Proposal

A proposal to pitch for Brisbane Powerhouse, a QUT project

Brisbane Powerhouse

Background

Brisbane Powerhouse stands out from all other art venues of its kind. This is because of their constant ability to engage. all visitors, not just the ones who are going there to see a show. They offer. more than the others, so they must consistently strive to stay contemporary, unique and accessible to remain as the cultural epicentre Queensland. Their biggest advantage is their rich history that give the iconic building. its charm and beauty. We all see the wonderful heritage-listed graffiti art but more needs to be done to celebrate the historic footprints that are showcased throughout the venue.

Objectives

Squads coming together to standardise individual internal tools into one for our internal users, across different functions.

Proposed

The Stained Glass Parasols, a series of interactive art installation proposed by Orange Lemon Projects, provides an opportunity for Brisbane Powerhouse to widen the demographics of their visitors and increase the amount of time they spend at the venue. They will liven up the area and create conversation between potential guests. The installations include three vibrant and striking parasols, all of which can be designed assembled, and installed within a 4-5 weeks development period. The estimated cost fall just below the $2000 budget, leaving space for excess funds to be invested into the long-term upkeep of the project. There are many opportunities for this project to expand, however, even at its original proposed first-stage, it adds tremendous value to the Brisbane Powerhouse and surrounding areas. When weighing the monetary costs and timeline against its potential for success, it is clear that it would be profitable and worth the investment.

Final thoughts

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don't worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what's going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don't hear your own voice in your head, that's a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don't overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it's going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
